Yes, We love our new skillet
We have had one for over a year and bought this blue one as a second one. We've used them both often...better than those expensive ones.
AWESOME pan!
We've used T-Fal pans in our family for over 20 years. So when mom's finally bit the bullet, she went out looking for another T-fal for a replacement. She had a horrific time finding this smaller 8 inch size in a single package - they're all packaged with a 10-inch. Of course, Amazon had it so I ordered her one. She received it in 2 days and is SO thrilled with it! It cooks as well as her older T-fal pans and even includes the warm-up button in the middle so you can tell when the pan is heated. Also, the color is considerably different than what is pictured. It's actually a very deep navy blue with some kinds of sparkle to it - almost looks like crushed very fine diamond chip glaze. Very pretty pan! Great product, mom's happy! From experience with T-fal, however, they do say that they're dishwasher safe. BUT, mom has NEVER put hers in the dishwasher and they, no kidding, lasted for 30 years. Mine, however, only lasted for 6 since I put them in the dishwasher. Food for...

My old 8" pan got old, so of course I searched for a new 8" non-stick replacement at Amazon. Since Cook's Illustrated recommended a T-Fal (but in a larger size), I focused on that brand and ended up ordering this T-Fal 8" non-stick.
Amazon calls this an 8" pan. FAIL: IT'S NOT 8". T-Fal calls this, on their packaging, a 7 3/4" pan. FAIL: IT'S NOT EVEN 7 3/4".
Since it didn't fit my old lid, I used a ruler - apparently an unknown measuring device for both Amazon and T-Fal - to measure the pan when it arrived after I saw my lid wouldn't fit. The pan measured 7 1/16". That's way out of line with my expectations! Not exactly, not even nearly what I wanted, and isn't that what quality is all about?
Still, a good, small non-stick pan if you want a 7...
