Generally pleased
I'm an avid ice tea drinker and I agree with previous reviews that the 6 1/4 quart size is more than adequate. I didn't realize how big it was until I received it. The one size smaller would have been fine, but this one will do just as fine. I've used it several times now to brew jasmine green tea and I have no complaints on its functionality. I usually keep tea in it over a few days and there is no sign of rust. My previous teapot started showing signs of rust at about this point with tea sitting in the kettle so I am pleased with the Beka. It does take a while to boil due to the larger volume, but brewing good tea takes time.
A couple of notes to consider... The metal is not as thick as I thought that it would be at this price point, but there's issue at this point. Secondly, the kettle had a small ding near the bottom. It's not very noticeable and probably more related to quality control than anything else. The original packaging doesn't seem very sturdy...

This is exactly what I wanted! I have a Glenwood cook stove and this kettle is perfect! It pours driplessly and the handle stays upright.
HUGE and Sturdy!
I bought this as a gift for my tea-loving friends, and it is, by far, the largest tea kettle I have ever seen. Could easily serve a large crowd and very well constructed- metal is thick and not easy to ding or dent.
